The NBA playoffs are back and with so much happening during the pre-season and regular season this should be quite an end to an unforgettable season of basketball. Entering the season pretty much the only thing you heard on TV and radio concerning the NBA revolved around LeBron James and the Miami Heat. Since “the decision” the pressure has been on the Heat to get to and win an NBA Championship. Miami had their ups and downs, but the team is playing great entering the NBA playoffs. Nobody can hand with them in the talent department, but the playoffs are all about team. SO if anyone is able to beat the Heat it will be because the team plays better. In the 76ers the Heat face a tough opponent, however the young Sixers have to do some more work before they can seriously entertain beating a team like the Heat. Celtics vs Knicks:
This has to be the most anticipated of the first round matchups, as the historic rivalry of the Knicks and Celtics takes on a whole new meaning when its the playoffs. The OKC Thunder have been a blast to watch all year as Kevin Durant has become among the most dangerous teams in a long time. The Nuggets have a bit of Ewing Theory going for them after Carmelo got sent to New York, and they are a feisty bunch. Well we’ve seen a couple of games from all teams in the NBA playoffs and we can start looking at some potential plot lines for the post-season that will have basketball fans looking for their NBA playoff tickets in a hurry.
